Fine… One Cesc question that is it.

Why transfer to Chelsea? I don’t know. Maybe Arsenal did not want to pay the price. Maybe they feel Cesc is no longer needed. Maybe Cesc misses London and the beautiful London weather. He also misses the wonderful food and the tabloids. A nice paycheck, potential trophies…

Why leave Barcelona? Because by now he has realized this club is no longer the home he dreamed of and it is dying to sell him. In a way I am glad he is going. He deserves better treatment, definitely better fans. I am not sure if Chelsea is better, but let’s hope so. I can’t imagine the Chelsea fans providing him with any less support than the Barcelona fans did so he should be okay there.

and he’s a trophy hunter tbh

Denying it.

He spent 8 years in one team.  A team without trophies and he never made it seem like the club was any less because of the lack of trophies. Often times he carried that team on his back. He was considered one of the top 5 midfielders and could’ve joined any team. I think many would call that loyalty.

I don’t think he is leaving Barcelona because of trophies. Chelsea’s chances of winning trophies are not bigger than Barcelona’s. Barcelona has plans and obviously Cesc is not a part of those plans since they decided to sell him and buy a new MF. Since Arsenal did not plan to buy him then what was he supposed to do? Well he could quit football. Sell himself for pennies and maybe join a lesser team to show respect to Arsenal. or even better!! Move to a new country because it is just so easy to pack up and move from country to country when you have a family. Who cares if you even like the league or the football they play. Learn a new language. It is a small price you can pay to show how loyal you are to fans who probably don’t even deserve it.

Cesc is ambitious. And I have always been so glad that he is ambitious. If you are good there is no reason why you should be okay with sitting on the bench. And Cesc is good. He is not just good, he is fantastic! Yes he did not fit our plan perfectly but he was a great player. He deserved respect, appreciation and a true place in the team. He deserves better than what Barcelona gave him.

The more I read the Cesc hate posts the better I feel. It only goes to show the kind of support and faith his fans gave him. So again, yeah he deserved better. The fans were probably one of the reasons VV left, and it is probably high up on Cesc’s list as well.
